Stroma Certification was delighted to receive two awards ‘Best Energy Assessor Accreditation Scheme’ and the ‘Best Energy Assessor Technology’ at the recent Property Professional awards event, which took place on 10th May 2011 at the Grosvenor House, London.

The awards followed on from a successful Property Professional Show held at the Olympia, the largest event designed for property agents, energy assessors and industry professionals, where Stroma launched the Stroma Network and delivered a very popular CPD seminar regards; generating revenue streams from imminent legislation.

Stuart Oakes, sales manager at Stroma Certification accepted the Best Energy Assessor Accreditation Scheme award at the ceremony, which was voted by the members and commented: “It is through true dedication to our members that we receive this award in recognition for delivering an unrivalled certification scheme that not only conveys straightforward solutions for our membership but continues to expand the service levels in line with developing legislation.”

The award was further complimented by achieving the Best Energy Assessor Technology, for FSAP, the built environments most advanced SAP tool. The scope of what FSAP can achieve was acknowledged during a ‘dragons den’ style pitch to a recognised panel of industry experts.

FSAP is a multi-faceted software tool, uniting the methodologies of both SAP and the Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH), furthermore, for calculating the performance and payback of installed microgeneration renewable solutions. The National Calculation Methodologies, SAP and CSH, underpin the assessment of energy performance within the new housing sector required for meeting Building Regulations.

    I wish their energy assessors were just as good. Most of the incorrect EPC's we see are their accredited assessors.
