A series of training sessions on the Consumer Protection Regulations is being launched by the RICS and will be open to non-members.

Each session, delivered by global residential director Peter Bolton King together with RICS policy manager Paul McMormack, will take a step-by-step look at the Office of Fair Trading guidelines, and will advise on the ways agents can try to make sure they are compliant.

Bolton King said that the OFT guidelines “signifiantly change the relationship between agent and client and also change the information that agents should be collecting, checking, recording and passing to customers”.

He added: “Although the OFT guidelines are aimed at sales agents, the concept applies to all agents.”

The training sessions run from next month to February with venues in London, Manchester, Bristol, Plymouth, Nottingham and Birmingham.

"Now a dating site PeeBee and RR??? Good luck, a nice couple"

Trust me, 'Cupids arrow' - he ain't my type and I'm DEFINITELY not his!

He likes nodding dogs - whereas I bark and chew at his ankles...

    RR

    Nope. Good try.

YOU will no doubt be attending the Plymouth seminar.

You can collar PBK and fill him in on where it's all going wrong... can't you!

Maybe he will listen whereas David Dalby (and the NAEA...and the Government... and all the corporates, apparently... - not to mention every reader of this website...) chose to ignore you previously.

Enjoy! The tea and biscuits will be worth the short journey!

PS - I've missed you! When will you next be entertaining me?

    Are you going Pee Bee?
It might be interesting. We might even meet :'-)
Think what an extension to the course that might prove to be :)

Am I right in thinking that your nearest town is Birmingham, based on where you are currently living?

COME ON, PBK! You're not frightened to visit your old mates and colleagues 'oop North', are you?

You shouldn't need your passport stamped again - OR any booster jabs! ;o)

At least it can't be Mr Hendry - he 'resigned' his status!

What are the RICS doing, offering CPR Training, anyway?

Shouldn't it be St John's Ambulance...?
