Today’s prize for the best property details go to Chappell & Matthews who, with a name like that, were the obvious choice for a vendor selling a converted church at Thornbury, near Bristol.

The particulars talk about a “fully enclosed resting place” in the grounds. Which sounds a bit like yoga.

What they actually mean is an old graveyard.

Which sounds more like ghosts.

Seriously, what is the problem with graveyards? Some of the prettiest properties I know are next to a graveyard. I just don't get it
