Northfields triumph in estate agency football tournament

Over 100 estate agents came together to take part in the Estate Agency Foundation 5-a-side football tournament.

Teams ranged from national corporate agencies through to single office independents, along with teams from some of the industry’s suppliers.

The eventual tournament winner was Northfields (pictured) who beat Intercounty in the final 3-0.

Peter Knight a trustee of Estate Agency Foundation, said: “It’s extremely humbling to see such a large number of estate agents and letting agents come together for the second year running and raise money for charity.

“As an industry, estate agents are not nearly recognised enough for all their hard work. Indeed, I doubt there is any other business sector in the UK where such a high percentage of the workforce gets involved in charity work.”

The standard of football was very high throughout – and it was played on that sweltering last Sunday in June.

Other teams that took part in the event included Street’s Ahead, Andrews and Partners, W A Ellis, The GPEA, Digital Property Group, Your Move, Gumtree Media, Fully Furnished Group, Ludlow Thompson, Ellis & Co, Estate Agency Events, Tiger Estates and many more.  

Proceeds go to 12 charities, including homeless charities and Help for Heroes.
