Tenants can bid for properties they are interested in renting at a new property auction website, bidURrent.
The Birmingham-based firm’s website lists rental properties and guide prices but allows tenants to bid their own rent offers. These then go to auction.
The site charges a flat daily rate for agents or landlords to access, meaning they can list one or more properties for a day at £1.
“Our website provides a fast and simple, mutually beneficial service to both sides of the rental industry,” said Phillip Smith, website content manager.
Letting agents’ contact details and pictures of properties are searchable on the site, which is also available in the same way to potential tenants, landlords and agents of commercial premises.
