NFoPP has switched to a different partner, Pearson VUE, for its qualifications.

It means that NAEA and ARLA members will be able to sit their exams at a centre close to their home or place of work. Pearson Vue has 167 centres.

Altogether, 47 computer-based exams are on offer from NFoPP, which has official status as an awarding body.

Venetia Knight, qualifications manager at NFoPP, said: “Having previously assessed with another CBT provider, we transitioned to Pearson VUE based on its reputation and the fact that it boasts the largest, most secure test centre network.

“The move will allow our members greater flexibility regarding when and where they sit NFoPP Awarding Body exams.

“As well as being highly regarded by employers, certified members offer assurance to the public as they possess tangible evidence of being knowledgeable and skilled professionals.”

Suzana Lopes of  Pearson VUE, part of the group which owns the Financial Times, said: “Improving candidates’ journeys towards more rewarding careers is one of our key commitments, and coupled with our extensive experience, sees us ideally placed to meet the NFoPP Awarding Body’s future assessment needs.

“Delivering a number of different exams UK-wide, aimed at a cross-section of industry professionals, allows us to help advance careers while ensuring that the NFoPP Awarding Body benefits from the most comprehensive and robust solution on the market.”
