Membership of the NAEA has begun to recover, chief executive Peter Bolton King has said.

In a video sent to members last winter, NAEA vice-president Mark Hayward said the membership was 7,147, and at the beginning of this year it was reported that numbers had dropped to 6,573.

But this week, Bolton King said numbers had recovered to 7,250,with 80 more applications being processed.

While this is some way off the peak numbers of 10,500, he said he was pleased with the direction membership is going.

Altogether, NFoPP has some 13,500 members.

Bolton King said ARLA membership is breaking through the 6,000 barrier, while the two smaller organisations, NAVA and ICBA, each have about 300 members.

In a little over two years, membership has plummeted by around 40%. Terribly sad; no one accepting the blame and ultimately, all too predictable. Glad I'm out of it.

    Very interesting!
Not one post yet on this and it is 16.37.
Could it be that nobody is really interested?
