Movewithus, the estate agency network, says it has generated £8.4m in fees for its member agents since April last year.

The company says that agents have benefited to the tune of £6.5m from ‘must sell’ corporate instructions, including repossessions, probate and part-exchange, plus £1.9m from HIPs and conveyancing.

The company, whose continued growth consistently propels it into the Sunday Times Profit Track 100, also says that it has grown 22% in agency numbers since the start of this year. It says 230 agency offices have joined its network, growing it from 1,045 to 1,245.

During the same period, it says 31 offices have started using their ‘Online Office’ website software and over 100 agents have signed up as ‘whitehot property affiliate agents’, enabling them to market movewithus corporate properties from their own websites.

Movewithus founding director Nigel Higgins said that changing market conditions had forced the company to concentrate on “providing instructions and other revenue-generating services that would be of real value to independent agents during tough times”.

He said: “Prior to the recession, we developed new relationships with corporate companies – lenders and home builders – so we would be able to supply agents with a steady supply of corporate instructions to help them through an extremely tough year.”

Movewithus was founded in 1997 as Partners in Property and now has 200 staff.

    Muppets!
I hear this far too often about MWU. Agents join them then leave soon after! They can't keep 'churning' their agent members for too much longer - they must have gone through nearly every agent in every town by now!?
If you want a good network that works for its members because it is run by its own members then look at NATIONAL HOMES NETWORK - www.nhn.co.uk

movewithus, more like ripagentsoffrus we pay them monthly to get vals that never turn into business. look after their members? even the rare occasion you get a instruction when you sell it you get paid 12 weeks after completion. They always say when valuing for them be very realistic then they give it to the highest valuation!! idiots

Movewithus created nothing - other than an income stream for themselves. They are obviously right up themselves, thinking that without them, agents would not have had the properties on the market. Those properties HAD to sell - through someone - they just creamed off the easy money by farming the property out to a panel agent for part of the fee. Nice work if you can get it...
