Lettings-only website gears up for expansion

Website lettingsearch.co.uk has announced the appointment of Peter Everett as sales and marketing director, as it prepares for a major re-brand and expansion.

Industry veteran Everett has been in the estate agency industry for over 25 years and has held senior roles with both Your Move and Hamptons International. He was also briefly with the Live Organisation.

In his new role, Everett will be responsible for the development of the LettingSearch business through a licensing programme, launched earlier this year. The company is looking to appoint 25 area managers to promote LettingSearch to letting agents in their area and manage the ongoing relationships. The company has already appointed six of these licences.

Phil Calderbank founded the site in 2002. It now claims over 280 town-specific portals that produce a combined total of nearly three million visitors a week, viewing over 130,000 properties.
