Hunters, the north-based estate agent is expanding its Personal Agent concept into North Wales.

Nick Jones, 36, pictured, has acquired the Mold area of Flintshire, in what is the agency’s first venture into North Wales although it does have agents in nearby parts of North-West England.

Hunters’ personal agents do not operate out of traditional high-street offices, but instead pay a fee to work for themselves, from home, under the Hunters brand. They offer a traditional estate agency service but with a single point of contact and are available seven days a week.

Kevin Hollinrake, managing director of Hunters, said: “Despite what many see as still difficult market conditions, we are expanding rapidly right across the north and into the Midlands. This move into North Wales demonstrates the confidence we have in our very effective way of selling properties.”

Apart from the inevitable holiday homes and conurbations of Fint and Rhyl, are there any houses to sell in North Wales? I thought tha natives (both of them) still mainly lived in caves from whence they sell their wares of fine slate and pure mountain water...

It takes 2 hours to drive across North Wales, bank holidays exempt.

    "North-based"

Doesn't the Southern based media understand that the North is a big place?

Another one fell for it. Sadly he wil find the population is too sparse to make it work over there and the Welsh are finical about who they deal with, no front door to be more precise!
