A London homelessness charity, Broadway, is launching an appeal today called “Phones For Homes”, which it specifically hopes agents will support.

The campaign is to encourage people to donate their unwanted mobile phones to the charity to raise much-needed funds.

It will get £3 for every mobile phone donated.

Anyone wishing to donate their old mobile phone can do so simply by sending it to: Broadway’s Homeless Appeal, FREEPOST RSAS-HJHE-AYKG, Broadway, 15 Half Moon Court, London EC1A 7HF.

Really? And people will do this when they can just as easily sell their old phone for 50+ quid via other recycling websites.
But if that makes you feel greedy and selfish, just send this charity the £3!
Not really a well thought out method of fundraising is it!
