We’re back!

We would like to apologise most sincerely for our absence since about noon last Friday, and in particular for the very nasty warning message that will have been displayed on most of your screens when you tried to access us.

An additional nasty warning even appeared on Google, warning visitors that we were an “unsafe site”.

Unfortunately, we were hacked into (presumably by a green-eyed monster) with the result that we have had an IT team working round the clock all over the weekend to rectify extremely critical problems.

These were, unfortunately, expert 'malicious' hackers who knew exactly what they were doing.

Everything has now been resolved, Google has obligingly taken us off their danger list and normal service resumed.

Once again, we sincerely apologise, and many thanks to all those readers who were so swift to alert us to the problem.

    Guess we upset a "certain faction" last week by pointing out that their arguments were purely based on self-interest and NOTHING, as they claim, to do with the good of all mankind...
