Hamptons International has announced the launch of a new specialist waterside property division.
It will operate across both sales and lettings and have a dedicated website page and search functionality.
According to Hamptons, properties by water are 18% more expensive in London than similar properties which do not have a water feature. Across the country branches, this premium rises to 21%.
For landlords in London, this translates to nearly £50 extra per week for a one-bedroom property and more than £130 per week for three-bedroom flats.
The new division will be operated in London by Adam Bishop (sales) and Simon Wood (lettings), and outside London by Neal Wood (sales) and Karen Standing (lettings).
