Here is good news for estate agents: they are nowhere to be seen in the latest list of ‘most hated’.

Instead, Manchester United top the ‘most hated’ list, just ahead of budget airline Ryanair and British Gas.

Bankers also fare badly, with 17% of people saying they cannot stand RBS and 16% unable to think well of Lloyds.

McDonald’s, Starbucks, BT, Sky, easyJet and Network Rail are also unpopular.

To be fair, the list, which surveyed 1,000 people and is published by Online Opinions, contains company names and organisations rather than professions and trades.

Nevertheless, estate agents, politicians and, come to think of it, journalists, can all smile…

…Until the next ‘most hated’ survey comes along.

The more you do, the more you get.

    Both good and bad.

So pretty much every successful, well established company mentioned - with a huge base of completely satisfied recoccuring clients is unpopular.

Ok that clears things up a little.
