You may not have spotted this, since there was no announcement, but it is now possible to retrieve an EPC by simply using the address.
The unique reference code is no longer required before an EPC can be downloaded from the Landmark site.
What seems suspiciously like an outbreak of common sense was noticed by the eagle-eyed Peter Ambrose, so we thought we’d pass it on just in case – however belatedly.

Hawkeye. PMA ? Epc ? Where are you connecting the two ?
Yes, now I know how to obtain an Epc from an address, but I also know what to do with it, and how to profit from it, and no, I'm not an estate agent.
AC - Blue Shame on you both for not knowing. If you are EA's then I should go out and get a proper job in say Tesco stacking shelves as you clearly have no brain for this kind of work! Fancy admiting your lack of knowledge! Look forward to seeing your name in the press as the next agent taken to court over a PMA problem.
@Blue & AC:
You two are so on the ball you could be consultants!
just another way of buyers not bothering to look at them.
Just because you were aware of this doesn't mean everyone else is. So yes, you are very clever. Now we know.
But I will also say thanks to Ros, I find this useful.
I love how current the news is on here! Isn't there another All Agents non story that needs writing?
I would like to say thanks.
I didn't know about this and it is mighty useful.
