Stop press from cars4agents  London Congestion Charge - change to discounts and exemptions  Great news for London agents !

This year saw the launch of a new generation of city cars, boasting engine efficiency improvements resulting in Co2 being below 100 g/km and Euro 5 compliance for air efficiency across all ranges .
 
As of 4 January 2011, the Greener Vehicle Discount will allow a 100 per cent discount from the Congestion Charge for vehicles that emit 100g/km or less of CO2 and that meet the Euro 5 standard for air quality. Owners will need to register with Transport for London (TfL) for the discount and make an annual £10 payment per vehicle.
   
Following the TfL announcement on changes to the London Congestion Charge discounts and exemptions, those customers who drive a qualifying car within the zone will benefit from these changes, making a saving of up to £2,500 per annum.
