Chesterton Humberts has announced the opening of a third new office this year.

The latest is in Kensington Church Street, London, not far from its existing Kensington High Street branch.

Within three days of opening, Chesterton Humbers says the new office, managed by Nick Carter, was instructed on 19 properties, handled nine offers and tied up one deal.

The opening brings the number of Chesterton Humberts branches to 70, including 27 in London and 19 internationally.

CEO Robert Bartlett says further new offices are planned this year and next.

• In another London opening, Stirling Ackroyd has a new office in the Bloomsbury area.

The firm, which has been in existence for over 20 years in commercial and residential markets, has a track record of opening up in areas before they become fashionable – for example, Shoreditch, Hackney and the South Bank.

From Bloomsbury, an area which mixes former council housing with listed Georgian terraces, the firm plans also to be covering Holborn and Covent Garden.
