House prices in prime central London have risen by 20% over the last year, Knight Frank has reported.

 

It says prices are now only 9% lower than the peak in March 2008.

 

Spicerhaart has also reported a larger-than-average rise in values, this time across Greater London. It says that last month, house prices rose 3%. It also reports a 19% increase in new instructions.
