The ESTAs organisers have announced that they will highlight the efforts of individuals within agencies that compete for the Estate & Letting Agent Awards next April.

“The ESTAs have always been, and will continue to be, a team competition, but we also believe staff who have been integral to the customer service experience should be recognised,” said Simon Brown, who runs the scheme.

“Staying true to our philosophy of selecting winners based on the feedback from clients, staff from agencies that have signed up for the 2011 awards will have the chance to be recognised locally and nationally for their hard work.”

For each region there will be shortlisted bronze, silver and gold awards, and there will also be gold, silver and bronze awards nationally to be presented in April in London by Phil Spencer.

Brown added: “Each gold winner will be entitled to use the ESTA initials on their professional signature and we hope in time this will become a mark of personal excellence recognised by the industry and consumers alike. We hope this will further help to motivate all staff to concentrate on the customer service aspect of their role.”

Agents must sign up for the ESTAs by July 31 if they wish their staff to be eligible for the individual categories. There is no extra cost for this category.

The ESTAs are sponsored by EAT in association with HomeLet, Rayner Recruitment and RICS.  Agents can sign up for the 2011 competition now at www.theestas.com
