A country and prestige homes exhibition put on by Beresfords at stately home Boreham House, on the outskirts of Chelmsford, proved an excellent example of independent agents working together.

Other agents who took part at the invitation of Beresfords came from Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Hertfordshire.

The event drew around 600 people, including buyers from South Wales, and with children’s entertainment, live music, a vintage ice cream van, and food and drink on hand, it ensured that people didn’t feel the need to rush away, resulting in many property viewings being arranged on the day.

Paul Beresford said: “It seems rare for agents to work together but our colleagues at Clarke & Simpson, Cheffins, Brown & Co, Oliver Minton and David Burr, whilst working in a similar market are in different areas that border each other, and like us, consistently deal with buyers looking to move further out from London and its suburbs.

“We are constantly striving for different property marketing initiatives and this was the perfect platform to market the best properties in the region not only to local people but also those looking to move out from London.”
