The parent company of Townends and Regents estate agents, Badger Holdings, has increased its staff by one-third so far this year.

The ongoing recruitment drive is across all areas of the business and the company says it has not been recruiting on this scale since 2007.

As well as reinforcing branch numbers, it is also recruiting ahead of new office openings.

Catherine Darbon, group recruitment manager, said: “We are currently receiving an average of 500 applications per month. We are keen to make ourselves as competitive as possible and keep ahead of the industry average in terms of our salary packages and incentives.”

Agreed - boring PR stunt to justify some HR managers pitiful existence that would be better outsourced - every progressive agent these days knows its quality and not quantity that counts - or do they ? :)
