How does this idiot still get coverage?

Sad to see a small independent go under, their local knowledge and connection with the community are what makes our business IMHO. Very sensible advice in the penultimate paragraph that all companies, not just in our sector, would do well to heed.

Lot's of personal details including client ID (I'm sure the previous regime had all the AMLR boxes ticked) backed by a Russian company. My African princess thinks it's a great idea, where do I sign?

More likely to be because many more agents like us are using the 'new and exclusive' option. Leads from RM dropping, leads from OTM increasing and the gap now small. On a random search on OTM and Z for 6 of our branch areas, there was only one area where Z had more stock and that was just a few properties in a small city catchment area. In all the rest OTM was a very clear leader.

Of course it has, many ftbs in other parts of the country weren't paying SD anyway because the price was below the existing threshold.

Great if you can get a HA property in the first place! In 2010 the private rented sector over took the public rented sector for the first time so how does this help the majority of tenants?

This was reported on a national scale earlier this year. If I recall the HBF looked it into and found that only a very small number of the consents were viable, one of the principle reasons being the S106 demands of the local authority.
