New niche City of London-based Hatton Real Estate is expanding its residential team with the appointment of Bradley Sharp, who joins from Greene & Co.
The company says on its website we are more than just estate agents; we are marketeers and describes itself as a seriously design-conscious team.
HRE also has a commercial and lettings division, and operates in Clerkenwell, Farringdon, Shoreditch, Camden, King's Cross, Hackney, Whitechapel and Islington.
It has a higher-tech approach than most agents, using video tours and presentations as well as social media alongside what it calls good old estate agency networking.
Meanwhile this month also sees the launch of a new office for Chase Buchanan, which is opening a branch in Richmond.
The firm will now have a network of eight offices and claims to offer traditional estate agency service with what it calls a modern twist.
Chase Buchanan claims to be the only agency to offer a full Home Warranty Product' to those letting properties - a policy covering annual servicing, repairs, safety checks and the like.
Expansion inevitably means taking on new staff, so Richmond will be a mixture of long-termers from our existing offices, as well as a couple of gems we've recently recruited says managing director Colin Deer.
