VTUK has upgraded its estate agency software, Aquarius, to give it a property management facility.

The upgrade is free and is aimed at agents who want to expand into rental property management.

“We’re moving with the market and giving our clients what they want – software that backs up their business objectives,” said Peter Grant, managing director of VTUK.

“During the residential sales downturn, we saw a number of estate agents moving into lettings in order to develop new revenue streams and insulate themselves from the impact of significantly reduced fee income on the sales side.

“Adding management functionality to Aquarius means they can now do both.

Can anyone tell me whether there exists software that assembles inventories as well as simply manages lettings among the larger software players?
