London, 8 March 2013--Innovative new property recruiter, Estate Agency All-Stars, is pleased to announce the successful placement of two more ‘All-Stars’, this time with Croydon-based estate agency group, Streets Ahead.
Having successfully negotiated the All-Stars application process, which included a psychometric test, presenting a 60-second video ‘elevator pitch’ and an interview with owner, Bob Hay, Navin Sauboorah, 25, and Givoanni Lark, 27, were both offered the role of Trainee Sales Consultant.
Navin and Giovanni will now attend the first 10-day Estate Agency All-Stars course on 18 March in Cambridge, along withsuccessful applicants with other firms. During the course, theywill be introduced to all areas of estate agency, from legislation and carrying out viewings to handling fee enquiries and converting valuation opportunities.
Launched only this year, Estate Agency All-Stars has turned the estate agent recruitment industry on its head and is offering a much more thorough candidate selection process to agents. Its comprehensive 10-day course also means that every All-Starwill hit the ground running.
Navin Sauboorah,Trainee Sales Consultant, Streets Ahead, commented:
“After completing a degree in Interior Design and Architecture, I wanted to pursue my interest in property. Estate Agency All-Stars appealed to me because of the opportunity to learn on the job, as well as the chance to obtain a highly regarded City & Guilds qualification. It was a tough recruitment process and really challenged my commitment to embarking upon a career in estate agency, particularly the psychometric testing. The course covers every aspect of estate agency, so I’m confident that by April I’ll be well-equipped for the job.”
Giovanni Lark, Trainee Sales Consultant, Streets Ahead, commented:
“It’s not often you can say you enjoyed an application process but that’s how I felt about Estate Agency All-Stars. It really makes you prepare for the role you are applying for and that really helps when you get to the interview stage. By that point, you’ve given it a lot of thought and it’s much easier. I’m really looking forward to both the course and getting started at Streets Ahead.”
Bob Hay, Managing Director, Streets Ahead estate agents, added:
“We’re a growing business, always recruiting and have worked with both Josh and Julian in the past; we’re delighted with the service we’ve received from their new firm so far. We believe firmly in investing a lot of time and effort in ‘growing our own’ new staff, and found that Estate Agency All-Stars mimicked this approached. We’re really chuffed to have Navin and Giovanni onboard – both aced the tests and interview, which were exceptionally tough. They’ve shown real promise and we’re predicting great things for their futures.”
Josh Rayner, Director, Estate Agency All-Stars, commented:
“We’re delighted to have placed two candidateswith Streets Ahead, and to be working with Bob again. Both Navin and Giovanni are fine examples of people who will grab the opportunity of working in estate agency by the scruff of the neck – they are highly committed with a real grasp of what it takes to be a successful agent.”
