A software development firm is looking for agents to help test its new ‘Property Agent’ product.

Jason Gaved, managing director Lexel, based in Brighton, said: “Property Agent is a SaaS (Software as a Service) product and we are hoping it will change the market by drastically simplifying property management.

“In our research, we found that property management software is overly complicated, slow and repetitive. Our goal is to make our product easy to use, fast and efficient.

“We’ve got the product to a beta stage and we are now looking for estate agents and letting agents to help us out with testing, feedback and new ideas. This is an excellent chance for any agent to use a completely new breed of software.”

Anyone interested can call 01273 929310.

I can confirm AgentPro - www.agentpro.co.uk really is excellent software. Much better value than the alternatives.

I have been running an Estate agency firm for over ten years. I have used the expensive software both DezRez and Vebra. I partly agree with the Comments posted by Chris, but clever software with good marketing tools save a lot of time and money. I have recently changed to agentpro.co.uk and this does the lot at half the price of other providers.

    Hi Chris,

Why don't you give our software a go? We are looking for beta testers and we would look forward to you're feature requests and suggestions.

Our payment model will be SaaS based with no contracts and a PAYG (Pay-As-You-Go) payment model, we hate contracts!

Please feel free to email me on jason.gaved@lexel.co.uk if you would be interested in testing the software.

    Thanks,
    Jason.

"what we have, but with a modification that tells Google/ Yahoo how to find each of our properties"

I should know Darlings, that is a very big But!

The American developer, let me guess is not around or couldn't give a stuff about UK Portals.

Muggins has bought himself a pup.

Any agency that can't find 420 quid a year for an off the shelf UK system would probably be better of running a car boot/ebay business selling shell suits.

Chris... please will you share the name of your 'one of payment' software. I am working on a start up and this sounds interesting.

Wasting money to use software like Dezres or Estate Craft where you upload your property onto their servers at huge monthly costs is bad news.

We have been using software from the states, which we bought 6-years ago for a few hundred quid. It does everything from build/ update our website, produce brochures and offer letters, the lot.

All agents really need now is software similar to what we have, but will a modification that tells Google/ Yahoo how to find each of our properties, the lead photo, number of bedrooms, asking price etc. and we can all do away with Rightmove, Zoopla, Globrix etc. Our online marketing will then be cheap to begin with and free thereafter.

Build that and I'm in. Build something else and I'm not interested!
