The Buying Solution, Knight Frank’s property search arm, has enjoyed a record financial year.
Despite the economic climate, the upmarket property buying consultancy has bought property on behalf of its clients to the collective tune of nearly £150m. This is up 23% on 2007.
The Buying Solution was established in September 2004 and has since quadrupled in size. It has particularly established a reputation, via a team led by Mark Lawson, for dealing in the country’s top-end country houses and estates.
Managing partner Philip Selway said: “Whilst the economic outlook for 2009 looks uncertain with a deepening recession, we are retained by a number of buyers who are ready to purchase if the right property becomes available at figures that properly reflect the changing markets.”
