A new BBC2 series is to chart the fortunes of ten estate agents across the UK.

The working title is The Estate Agents, and it looks like being a chunky series – six hour-long episodes looking at the property industry over six months in a BBC2 series. We have no confirmation as to when it will air.

With properties ranging from £65m mansions in Chelsea to terrace houses in Durham, it will follow the buyers and sellers along the property chain.

Alison Kirkham, BBC commissioning editor for factual features and formats, said: “It promises to be a show rich in insights to the property market across the UK, as well as packed with entertaining, amusing and at times moving characters and stories.”

The executive producer is Annabel Hobley, who said: “Being an estate agent is particularly tough and competitive in the current climate and this series follows the people who are responsible for keeping the property market moving.”

So it's about entertaining viewers eh? Hope it's nothing like 'Tenants from Hell' which was sooooooo boring.
