The Live Organisation is offering its agents the ability, through a new Sitemaker function, to create stand-alone websites for individual properties.

The initiative is the result of a partnership with IT specialists Estatecreate.

The Live Sitemaker software allows agents to create an individual website for each property and a personal domain name. The format is easy to read and understand, allowing customers to view the property information with no confusion.

Online space can be used to include information about the local area, schools and contact details, as well as substantial room for photographs, online tours and walk-throughs.
The software means it takes only minutes to create and publish websites, which can also be made available through social networks.

Tim Price, Live’s sales and marketing director, said: “Individual property websites are innovative and functional. They are fast becoming the preferred way to search for homes.”

A 30-day free trial is being offered to all Live clients.

The same service is also available from Estatecreate, which will build the website for you within 48 hours. All agents need to do is email all the details across.

" ................... Preferred by whom? Everyone I know or meet looks for properties on the sites which have the most properties listed, or the best historical track record, else they go to a search engine and type in "property for sale (town)" or "property for sale (county)" or similar search terms. How do these folk propose to get good search engine optimisation with what are essentially brand new, low-traffic sites?

What have they done to the inside of that house! It looks lovely from the outside, but the inside looks like some soulless, modern flat. No, take it away, I don't want it.
