Absolutely 100% agree with Camden Council get rid of boards in every London borough as they are detrimental to all areas.

Purple Bricks is a company that has so many complaints daily about almost everything from no viewings, poor photos, little contact from LPE, and on and on. Because the vendor has signed up and has to pay they expect a lot and rightly so. However purely relying on the portals to make viewings and having no system in place for ring outs simply meant that it was a lottery if the vendor received any viewing requests. Again this was automated therefore no checks in place whether they can afford the property or being in a position to proceed. Chain checks were not in place and Kenny Bruce takes everything personally. He is a bull in a china shop and blamed everything on the LPE and not his system that is or was in place. They wont be around too much longer, how can you sustain 75 million in losses and never turn a profit after 5 years. If you break down the time you are working, weekends, nights, car costs, insurance, tax tyres, petrol LPE's are not earning that well at all. Huge turn around of staff, inept management and all the crap that goes with it stay clear. Market share under 2% with a 20% prediction 4 years ago come on this company is going nowhere. Their demise is coming and all the poor shareholders losing their investment will be a sour taste in their mouths. Traditional agents surely now must be gaining a lot more instructions and knowing how easy it is to explain about the demise of Purple Bricks.

Kenny Bruce ...... I will be back !!!! How funny he should come back as an aggressive Terminator that would suit his style :) The amount of crap everyone had to put up with from this guy just makes me laugh as now he has had to leave the firm. Could not happen to a nicer chap... High Street agents now have a 97.2% market share great times ahead. Bye Bye Kenny for now :)

Michael & Kenny are so arrogant I bet they didn't see this coming which is why Michael had no option but to leave before being pushed. His ego must now be in tatters although a very rich man so why would he need to worry. Kenny is very aggressive in his attitude and soon he will be gone. So purplebricks and there 20% market share in 5 years is so laughable it beggars belief. I know first hand how Kenny runs his business, he does not take the blame for anything and blames everyone else around him. Does not understand the fundamentals and never will. This announcement should make high street agents feel great and imagine what you can now tell your vendors! Wont be long now bye bye Purplebricks...

Stephen, you clearly do not understand how Estate Agency works by your comments. It is not a case of put the property on rightmove etc etc. Its all the work that goes on between offer and exchange of contracts. You are deluded if you think that is all it takes. Lowest fees in the world, and yet people like you and the on liners of whom most are incompetent do not really have a clue clearly what it takes to get a successful sale. WHY DO PURPLE BRICKS NOT RELEASE THEIR COMPLETION FIGURES. We can only imagine that it is so low that nobody would use them in the future. Would you gamble 1500.00 on a maybe getting sale and if not losing that money, I know I wouldn't.

Do even 50% of PB sellers go on to completion... I doubt that and people are starting to realise that £1500 to sell whether you do or you dont is simply ridiculous. LPE levels turning around like a roller-coaster ride. 5 year prediction of PB 20% market share now that is serious enough to be called complete b........s. I can not wait to see their demise, yes they might not go away completely but when the millions of losses and lots more coming will investors hold their nerve? I dont think so. If Purple Bricks stopped advertising tomorrow who would even know who they are.

Kenny Bruce's prediction of 20% market share in the Uk within 5 years seems like a huge over exaggeration. Seeing the share price plunge yesterday was no surprise. They blame their own staff for every complaint made and there customer care centre do the same. The company wont release their completion figures as it would ruin their proposition of everyone that pays up front with only a small percentage going on to completion. High street agencies are now starting to clean up. Not so many boards around now. There has clearly been huge arrogance at board level of predictions of new business. The US and Australia seem to have worked them out, it wont be long before the UK realise that the high street agent offers much better value for money. Treating staff like you have just wiped s... from your shoes....... How funny ! What a shame haha ! Lets now embrace the start of a massive decline of Purple Bricks and possible winding up. How can they carry on with all this investment and five years later still make massive losses for shareholders. Who would even know who they are without the advertising. Lets see what happens and watch with excitement as Purple Bricks follows emoov and probably many more down the pan. Bet Neil Woodford is hoping to get out while he can.

The bigger picture here is why does PURPLE BRICKS STILL not release their completion data. This is something if I still worked in the industry would be discussing with potential vendors. Who wants to pay out 1500.00 or so and have no guarantee of a sale. You don't go into a car showroom and pay 1500.00 towards a car if you don't know you will get the finance or the car is sold to someone else. Educating the seller should be the main priority and then the online sector will shrink even more. Doorsteps is upfront 99.00 and this gets you on all the portals. We all know Rightmove is the power house and they are not changing their model so we will see. Many London clients want to speak to their agents and pop in for a discussion when they need to. The same person that lists the house for sale recommends a great local solicitor and the work begins. I cant believe that sellers are told they must use a crappy panel solicitor who operates with rooms filled of unqualified admin staff. No wonder PURPLE BRICKS don't publish their completions. If the public had access to this information at least then the public can make an informed decision when they find out only a certain percentage of sellers actually sold. Thomas Cook have over 600 sites around the country and still expanding. Interesting thought when looking at online propositions....

Boards are unsightly and everywhere across the country spoiling the look of our beautiful roads and streets. Long gone are the days of potential buyers driving around to see what is on the market. There has been a huge change in the way we all search for new homes today. The Internet !!!! Lets all agree and get rid of boards off our roads forever.

Local Property Experts are about as much of a joke as you can have. Having previously worked for these idiots I can assure you they are glorified UBER drivers. They take property on the market and get paid no matter what, customers complaints are off the scale, refunds given all the time, paranoid about trustpilot, must get review on sale agreed, aftersales is almost beyond a joke and no structure to get the best price. No rapport built with buyers as don't have database. All you need to do is educate your vendors and you wont lose business or I am certainly not being affected at all. No threat in the future, you cant operate like this and succeed. Trust me they wont have anywhere near the impact some people imagine educate educate educate that's all you need to do !!!
