Because a property is “unmortgageable” does not mean it is unsaleable!

Auctioneers have been doing this for generations, hence exchange and completion within 6 - 8 weeks from initial instructions. What is effectively being promoted here is a voluntary home information pack.

Is this not HIP by another name. The gathering of information is not difficult - Auctioneers have been doing it for decades.

Let’s be clear - this is NOT the modern AUCTION method - it is the modern TENDER process. The whole purpose of an auction is that when the hammer falls the deal is done - not 28 days to give the highest bidder time to get hs act together!

Countrywide is today's replica of the Prudential fiasco under Jo Bradley In the late 80's. Will these big organisations never learn - we are in a people business - get rid of the people get rid of the business!

Such nonsense from Countrywide reminds me of the late 80's when Prudential installed Jo Bradley to bring "new thinking" to Estate Agency and removed him and closed the business after losing all their best people and a cool £400million in just 3 years. Is Fionnsla Early really serious that a house worth £200k will be worth £198k?Anyone with experience (and a modicum of common sense) know that it will either be £190 or £220! Anyone remember the RICS reporting a downturn of 40% just 5 years ago. I wonder where their "Cheif Economist" is today.
