We need to Scrap Taxes but not to make new ones up that won't work . We need a FLAT TAX of 10% on everything with NO ALLOWANCES , Gross Earnings , Sale of Houses , VAT etc . By making Taxes low everyone will pay so eliminating the Black Cash Economy . Scrap TV Licence , Standing Charges on all Bills just pay what you use and make any loans illegal higher than 10% above the base rate including credit cards .

It's about affordability if your selling a £1m house you can afford to pay say £50k tax , but to just ask people to pay an amount each month on there living costs would be to much for most .

Stamp Duty could be paid by the seller , not the buyer it would certainly help first time buyers . Why not have a fixed term mortgage say 3% over 25 years , they used to have these in 1960's . On leasehold flats why not introduce a law automatically extending all leases 999 years with a zero peppercorn ground rent with no cost to the leaseholder . We all should fully own our Home not have to increase a lease for an exorbitant price every 30 years .

In 2021 there will be a Large Correction in London Property prices , my guess 20% . This low level of interest rates people have borrowed to their max , corvid , Brit-exit , stamp duty holiday , all make for a perfect storm .

What happens to the Estate Agent who has been a very good one for 10 to 30 years , just sack them ? . Qualification Specialising in Estate Agency which can be passed with extra training but just saying 3 A levels . A lot of people like myself in the industry for over 40 years didn't do A levels , we went straight into work experience starting at the bottom working your way to the top .

Not sure regulation and rules will solve the matter , we are leaving the EU partly because of all the rules they bring out each month , cutting the Red Tape .
