The figures don't add up 140k per month of a 12 month listing figure of 288 that would mean they would have to sell every single house they list and complete on it with a invoice of nearly £6000. The guys sound like they know what they are doing but the headline can't be right. This is why people shy away from franchises, incorrect reporting like this.

The main problem for the high street is the high street. Constant moaning about the online agents. If you think online won't work why do you all spend so long talking about online. Just keep cutting fees I'm guessing the number of High street agents closing will far outnumber the number of online agents that close. Hatched close is just a publicity stunt by Connells if they don't use the tec from hatched in High Street they are crazier than I already thought.

Conells are nuts to close Hatched. But what else would you expect from the Ostrich’s on the. High street I’m surprised they don’t still employ someone to glue the narrow lens pics to the reams of details they prepare.

the easy property model is flawed and needs a rethink anyway, the val is generated on a sell for £249 then the only viable option is only £10 cheaper than the market leader PB sounds like whoever dreamt up the countrywide upfront fee was used for this crazy idea.

Countrywide will fail if the onlines take over the mortgage side of selling houses too. Everyone knows countrywide was always an insurance company that occasionally sells a few houses and does a few mortgages, if they lose this business they may as well shut up shop. They have got, complacent, arrogant and out of touch with the real world of estate agency.
