This is it! Rightmove unveils summer ad campaign

Rightmove is looking to help agents inspire more people to consider moving with its latest advertising campaign.

The portal’s summer advertising campaign has adopted the theme of This Is It, illustrating the benefits of moving and the various ways a home helps you grow up and feel happy.

It ends with a couple finding their new home on Rightmove and clicking to contact the agent, with the slogan, “no perfect time, just the right time.”

The advert will be played across key programmes including the remaining Premier League football fixtures, Gogglebox and Love Island, aiming to reach a variety of potential movers at different stages of their buying, selling or renting journey.

Rightmove’s campaign will run until the beginning of August and follows its headline sponsorship of the 19th series of Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway during March and April.

Matt Bushby, chief marketing officer at Rightmove, said: “Agents are approaching the end of what is typically a very active part of the year for the market in spring and will be busy planning the rest of their year.

“We want to reach different groups of potential home-movers this summer so that they turn to Rightmove to check what's available and contact their local agent. The market is much more settled and resilient than many expected at the start of the year, so we hope to inspire more people to consider making a move.”

Does anyone really decide to move whilst watching Ant and Dec? Apart from emigrating that is! 😂

I am a former territory owner, one from the start and had 5 out of 7, very very good years. We had the best of the best Agents in our area and became the leaders of multiple postcode areas. I'm really proud to say I jumped in the deep end, started with half of Wales and was the first to take on Agents building my team. In the beginning the problem was with the tie in to more expensive and useless conveyor belt solicitors who 8 out of 10 customers had to use when the pay later option came in. The complaints were never about the Agents, always the 3rd parties or lack of post sales support. As the agent looking after the sellers, many of us ending up chasing sales which took up a lot of time, and I fell into a trap working every single day to keep up with a level of service.
The time the Bruce brothers went overseas and put clowns in charge, bullies who always had to have one up on you, even though you were the ones bringing in the work, they are why purplebricks will not survive, they do not care about the agents and sacked all the good ones in the mass cull.
