Training provider launches agency listings course to help reduce fall-throughs

Agents can now access an online qualification in listings and market appraisals.

Agency training provider The Able Agent has launched what it describes as a first of its kind Ofqual-regulated online listing and market appraisal course.

The listing and market appraisal course results in an L3 diploma qualification when taken alongside both the L3 CePAP (Certificate in Property Advice & Practice qualification) and Sales Progression courses.

The course takes agents through the entire listing process, from prospecting and the very first conversation with a customer to objection handling.

The training is designed to help agents identify any potential problems early on to significantly reduce fall-through rates and increase the number of properties that go to completion.

Once trained, agents will know how to convert more market appraisals to listings and at higher fees.

It has been tailored to help agents build and create effective and qualified teams without having to take staff away from the office for days or attend webinars at fixed times.

Charlotte Jeffrey-Campbell, founder of The Able Agent, said: “Good listers can positively influence the speed of transaction and the bottom line of the business, by adapting their whole approach.

“Having a real understanding of the selling process as a trusted professional adviser, as well as property law and compliance expertise, will really help to support this.

“The module has been designed to support agents operating at all levels, and not just the trainee valuer/listers.

“Spotting opportunities in all areas of the business, raising fees and winning more instructions is the key to business growth and we’re delighted to include this new module as part of The Able Agent subscription.”
