Proptech firm promises more agent innovation to speed up sales

Proptech firm iamproperty has surpassed £1bn of sales using the Modern Method of Auction (MMoA) in the past 12 months.

Its iamsold brand reached the milestone after monthly sales doubled in June 2022 to 620.

The capital value raised in a single month also hit a record £120.7m in May 2022.

It comes as iamproperty has promosed its 4,000 partner agents several UK-first tech releases in the coming months to help improve the home moving process for everyone.

This includes digital enhancements to both its online auction service iamsold and movebutler sales progression platform.

The latest auction service innovations include a new bidding journey to enhance the consumer auction experience, which will see a brand-new consumer facing website launch to help drive leads for iamproperty partner agents.

The movebutler platform will also see the addition of a new surveys module plus continued enhancements to the conveyancing section, focusing on the provision of upfront material information.

The company also said its recent acquisition of VTUK and its Openview CRM platform will also allow iamproperty to offer a complete cloud-based property software solution, enabling agents to fully automate their day-to-day operations.

A recruitment drive is also underway, with plans to increase the team from 350 to 400 people.

Ben Ridgway, Managing Director of iamproperty, said: “We started our journey with our auction service, but our vision has always been to modernise the property market for estate agents and consumers.

“We empower our partner agents to succeed by offering digital solutions that save time, create real value, and meet not only their current needs but also acting intuitively to anticipate changing market conditions and customer demands.

He said partner agents have received record fees this year, adding: “One of our key priorities is collaborating with our partner agents to understand the challenges they are facing and developing our solutions to support them.

“We recently launched our new Partner Agent Advisory Council, which is an opportunity to bring together estate agents who share a commitment to improving the home moving process for everyone involved and drive industry innovation.

“We’ll work together to address and tackle the challenges and opportunities facing the residential property market and we’re excited to see where this takes us and our innovation roadmap.”
