Prime agent upsizes to meet local demand

Prime estate agent John D Wood & Co has moved its Chiswick office to a larger premises to boost its sales and lettings presence in the W4 area.

The brand has a network of offices across London, Surrey and the South of England.

The new Chiswick office will occupy the corner position at 45 Turnham Green Terrace and will continue to be led by branch manager Julian Masson and lettings manager Laura Purvor.

Plans to expand operations were initiated by the growth in local demand and the agent said it has seen a 67% increase in people looking to buy within reach of W4.

The price of detached family homes in Chiswick has increased by 16.2% while semi-detached houses have increased by 27.4% on average in the past 12 months, the agent said, revealing it has seen an average of 20 plus viewings per property, demonstrating demand in the market.
