New agencies, please! Wimbledon Village welcomes new boutique firm

A new ‘local and independent’ boutique estate agency has been founded in the heart of Wimbledon Village, with a vision of injecting a ‘fresh and passionate approach’ to the local property market.

It’s the brainchild of Mark Beim, who – having spent more than 20 years living in Wimbledon Village and Coombe, and working for agents such as Robert Holmes, Knight Frank, Alan Briegel and Coombe Residential – says he is extremely passionate about the local property market and truly understands what makes it such a special place to live.

Claiming £150 million in past sales and more than 20 years’ experience, the team says it has hit the ground running, assembling a ‘full roster’ of high-net worth clients and an array of prime instructions covering one of London’s smartest villages.

The agency says that notable listings so far include a detached seven-bedroom house on Bathgate Road within yards of Wimbledon Common (priced at £6.75 million) and a penthouse apartment on Parkside Gardens (which is on the market for just over £1.3 million). It says four new listings will be coming to the market soon, ranging from £2.85 million to £7.35 million.

As well as sales, a lettings arm has also been established, run by Lisa Gentry, formerly of Coombe Residential.

“I’ve worked at several estate agencies over the course of my career, but I’ve always felt that the industry was missing something,” Beim said. “At Wimbledon Homes we will strive to go the extra mile by delivering a level of personal service that surpasses that of any other agency through the passion, energy, commitment, local knowledge and experience of the team, mirrored in the quality of the homes we are marketing, throughout the entire sales and rental process.”

With ‘a personal and authentic approach’, Wimbledon Homes insists it is committed to achieving the best prices for sellers and seeking out the dream home for buyers, both on and off-market, all whilst ‘ensuring clients feel valued and supported’.

Wimbledon Homes’ services are not limited to property sales and lettings, though, with Beim saying he and his team will act as a concierge, offering ‘a bespoke buying service, source development opportunities and/or land, assist in property related joint ventures, in addition to introducing clients to builders, architects, interior designers, structural engineers, lawyers and surveyors’.

To mark the launch of the agency, Wimbledon Homes is paying homage to its new home, at 38 High Street, Wimbledon, and offering a special opening offer of 0.38% fee for a limited time only.
