Remote working agency abandons business model and sets up office

An estate agency which previously operated only through a remote working model has established a headquarters and expanded its team.

Chosen Home, which launched in September 2020, has established its base at Coleshill Manor near Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands.

Director Nicki Ash says: "With our business spread throughout the region, we wanted to move away from the remote working model we've had since we launched and site the Chosen Home team together centrally.

"Coleshill Manor was the perfect spot - set at the heart of the motorway network, well-appointed for reaching Birmingham, Worcestershire, Warwickshire and beyond.”

However, the company is beefing up its social media activity, with Ash explaining: "Property sales are in no way limited to face-to-face agency viewings, and with so many people scrolling through social media looking for inspiration, we thought that in addition to creating content around the diverse range of homes we have on offer, a strong social media presence would also provide people with another outlet to engage with us on."

Chosen Home says its current agents have worked for companies such as Knight Frank, Green & Co, Shipways, Hunters, Lex Allen and Connells.

At the end of last year the agency picked up the Disruptor Of The Year Award at the West Midlands Business Masters, an event staged by news website The Businessdesk recognising the achievements of new and established companies across the region.
