Normally estate agents are rightly proud of their professional abilities to provide expertise to vendors when it comes to selling - and to would-be purchasers about what to buy.

However Martin & Co, one of the many brands in The Property Franchise Group’s stable, has hired Maria Afentakis.

Her own website describes her as a “spiritual scientist” but Martin & Co calls her “an expert astrologist, author, neuroscientist, psychic and clairvoyant.” (No, it’s not April 1).

She has worked with the agency to estimate what would be the best sort of property to suit each starsign.

There’s no help given for couples or families trying to match several people of different starsigns who have to live under the same roof, but this is what the agency says about dream homes for different signs of the zodiac.

1. Aries (March 21 – April 19) - A Lavish Villa

Aries adore being the centre of attention so lavish properties and style, which provide a talking point, are an ideal choice. Bold and ambitious, an Aries will jump fully into challenging situations, but can sometimes be too impulsive. As purchasing a house is a huge undertaking and often lifelong decision, it’s important that they do not make any hasty decisions when choosing the property.
