Be Kind We Care: The Conveyancing Foundation’s Be Kind We Care initiative, launched during the pandemic, to encourage kindness between professionals in the property and conveyancing industry, has been named as the first official charity partner of the British Conveyancing Awards.

The charity was chosen after awards organisers were impressed by its principles and aims and its provision of practical advice and resources.

The Be Kind We Care initiative was launched in early 2021 by the not-for-profit foundation to combat the many stories it was hearing about professionals being unkind to each other as the stress of the pandemic and new working conditions started to take their toll.

Not only did the foundation want to reverse this growing trend by encouraging professionals to consider the impact of treating each other harshly but it also wanted to promote wellbeing within the conveyancing, legal and property sectors at a time of unprecedented pressures.

Be Kind We Care has partnered with charities LawCare, Agents Together and the Mindstep Foundation to provide resources for business and individuals in the form of an online Resource Hub which carries articles, podcasts and videos aimed at promoting good mental health and wellbeing within the workplace.

Bwengu Projects, Malawi: Now here’s a brilliant initiative from Red Brick sales and lettings which, along with colleagues from other agencies, have raised funds for two new classrooms in Malawi, plus a library and some refurbishment. They new classrooms are called Anna’s Classrooms and you can see more details here

The agencies - Red Brick plus Infinity Property and Bricknells - met through Sally Lawson’s Agent Rainmaker training programme and now all work together to raise money for this great charity. They also enlist our clients to raise monies , running a landlord BBQ to raise money to pay for the school desks for Annas Classrooms.

Inspiring work!
