We’re Different - Agent group wants to stand out after 25 years

The Guild of Property Professionals is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a pledge to work hard this year to stand out from rival trade bodies.

“Our aim is to continue to add value to our offering for our members. We are perpetually seeking ways to increase the value that we provide to our membership and driving our mission of helping them increase revenue, save costs and remain complaint” says chief executive Iain McKenzie.

The Guild - which has some 800 members - says 55 have been with the organisation for over 15 years; a further 160 have been within The Guild for between 10 and 14 years, while 265 have been a part of the network for between five and nine years.

“Aside from the benefits of having a large referral network across the UK, members are also able to learn from each other as property professionals, exchanging best practises and ideas that will help them grow their businesses. Independent agents are able to be in business for themselves, while enjoying the advantages and influence being a part of a larger organisation provides” explains McKenzie.

“Apart from the networking aspect, many members have stayed with us because of the money they have saved over the years. Rather than paying for fragmented services … members have access to referrals, income-generating tools, legal advice, and compliance all under one roof for a set monthly fee.”
