PropTech boost for agents with Blockchain network in new deal

The PropTech network Coadjute, which says it will ultimately slash the time it takes to move house by as much as 50 per cent, is in a new partnership aimed at helping agents.

Coadjute enables the existing software used by estate agents, conveyancers, mortgage brokers and lenders to work together, enabling parties in a transaction to synchronise and share progress updates, property information and ultimately payments.

Now another property software company - Openview Powered by VTUK -  has partnered with Coadjute. This arrangement means that Coadjute will be connected to the Openview platform, enabling users to be connected to others including conveyancers, brokers and lenders.  The Coadjute network also automatically appears within the Openview platform.

“Users can securely share sensitive client data, see real-time progress updates and send and receive messages from within their Openview platform. This will cut time spent chasing for updates and make more time for revenue generating activity” explains Peter Grant, chairman and chief executive of Openview.

“There will be huge benefits to Openview users from this partnership, which connects property professionals on a greater scale than ever before and streamlines the process of buying and selling homes more than ever” Grant adds.

Grant says that, by combining Coadjute’s revolutionary network with Openview’s data-driven CRM, agencies can now receive powerful new capabilities.

“With their new Coadjute integration, current and new users can now reduce their property deal completion times by up to half, helping to increase revenues” Grant claims.

“When connecting from Openview to other platforms using Coadjute, you can see what other parties are doing on the same transaction in real-time – making it easier than ever to collaborate and get the transaction done.”

Grant describes Coadjute, which recently raised another £6m to roll out blockchain nationwide, as a “unique and highly innovative solution delivered using blockchain technology.”

He continues: “The revolutionary technology acts as a ‘national grid’ for the property market, and will enable future innovations including digital identity, digital titles, and even digital settlement of funds.

“With the Coadjute network, there is greater transparency, a reduced risk of fraud and an accelerated process with significantly less admin. Conveyancers will be able to protect sensitive client data by Coadjute’s encrypted network, which only the conveyancer and the receiving party can see.”
