Now, let’s start in London, where Knight Frank has appointed Christian Lock-Necrews as head of sales in its Knightsbridge office.
Christian, a partner in the firm, joined Knight Frank in 2008 to set up the Marylebone residential sales office. Over the past 14 years, he has successfully built the firm’s market share in the local area, grown the team from two to thirteen and advised on prime property sales across Marylebone, Fitzrovia and Bloomsbury.
Christian is also responsible for engaging Knight Frank’s local office network across London with New Homes sales and developer clients.
Rival high end agency Strutt & Parker has named Keir Waddell as director and head of its London New Homes sales team.
Keir joins the team having spent seven years at Knight Frank, where he was one of the firm's youngest partners: in his new role at Strutts, Keir will oversee the new home sales team in London, working at the forefront of the most significant residential schemes.
And still in the capital, the former head of the training department at Chestertons, Sinéad Conlon, has joined Fine & Country to build her business as a director in South Kensington and Knightsbridge.
Sinead has been in the industry for around 15 years, starting as a negotiator in Park Lane and working her way up the ladder to be the top lettings broker, running a team and working on key sites in Battersea Power Station and Nova Building, Victoria.
Our last piece of London news this week is that Rebecca Delman has joined the Alan Goldin team as sales and lettings manager.
With 10 years’ experience in residential sales, specialising in prime markets across North West London, she says: “I’m confident that we can grow sales significantly by combining our unrivalled local knowledge with a highly personal service backed up with the latest technology. I was born and brought up in this part of London and I’m looking forward to being able to help people with every aspect of the sales process.”
Now to the country, and specifically the Monmouthshire and South Herefordshire areas where poacher-turned-gamekeeper Anthony Clay is joining Stacks Property Search.
He brings with him extensive knowledge gained in his over 30 year career in the sales market, chiefly with Knight Frank and more latterly a consultancy role with Fine & Country.
Anthony says: “I’m looking forward to the change or perspective, and to helping buyers navigate their way through the market. It wasn’t long ago that using a buying agent was considered rather avant-garde. While buying agents have become increasingly mainstream, they’ve never been so much in demand as over the last year when the market has been so difficult. For buyers, having a buying agent working on their behalf is more valuable than ever before.
Further south west we see that David Lewis has been named by Knight Frank as head of rural sales for Devon and West Somerset.
David’s career in residential property began in London working as a sales negotiator in prime central London, across markets including Westminster, Belgravia, and Kensington & Chelsea.
Then he relocated to the beautiful Teign Valley where he has spent the last 15 years specialising in the sale of rural property, most recently for Jackson-Stops.
In the Midlands there’s news from the Leaders Romans Group that Llinos Lewis has become the new homes and shared ownership sales manager.
She comes with over five years’ experience in the industry, initially as a trainee sale advisor for Avant Homes, before progressing to the role of regional sales manager.
To Surrey next, where Graeme Wadhams has joined Seymours Estate Agents as group marketing director.
For the last 15 years he has run the marketing operation for Curchods, and says of his new move: “Marketing plays such an integral role throughout every corner of the business, I’m so excited about joining such a driven group of individuals, who are all so hungry to build upon their already strong reputation and further improve the success they achieve for their clients.”
Meanwhile in Bath Savills has appointed Alistair Heather to head up its local office - he’s spent nearly two decades working in that city and London.
Alistair started his career working for a leading London agency in the Chelsea, South Kensington and south west London markets. In 2011, he joined another large property firm, co-founding its Notting Hill office. He relocated to Bath with his family in 2019. He specialises in the sale of prime residential homes in the countryside market.
Up North once more and there’s plenty of appointments news from South Yorkshire and North East Derbyshire agency Redbrik.
It’s promoted Jessica Risorto to director where she’ll work alongside managing director Mark Ross and directors David Cooper and Peter Lee (pictured).
With branches in Chesterfield, South West Sheffield, Crystal Peaks and North West Sheffield, Redbrik is looking to further expand its team during 2022 with several new hires and promotions.
And sticking in Yorkshire, our final jobs news this week is that Reece Maddick is to manage the Guiseley office of Dacre, Son & Hartley.
Reece is described by the agency as an experienced manager and skilled negotiator with a real passion for delivering high levels of service - and he’s recently been named ‘Best Yorkshire Agent’ at the prestigious ESTAS Awards, based on customer reviews.
He says: “I’m really excited to be heading up Dacres in Guiseley. We will be recruiting two new team members in response to the buoyant market conditions, and I will be responsible for growing market share in this popular part of West Yorkshire.
