Agents Do Charity - and YOU have a say in where the money goes…

There’s an ingenious twist to one agency’s fund-raising this week, and EAT readers (along with the wider public) can have a say in where the donations go.

You’ll see more below, in the entry from Ashtons agency in Hertfordshire - but whatever your fundraising technique, we’re keen to lend a helping hand.

Just email us on press@estateagenttoday.co.uk and we’ll do the rest. Thank you.

Now….time to vote!

-

For Life’s Great Causes: Once again Ashtons is giving £10,000 to charity as part of its Life’s Great Causes campaign - and the public have cast their nominations from a shortlist of 20 charities.

People are asked to vote for a cause close to your heart and the poll is open until 3pm on Friday February 4. After that Ashtons will determine which charities will receive a share of £10,000.

Ashtons will distribute the total into £5,000, £3,000 and £2,000 donations based on the top three most popular charities resulting from the poll.

After another tough year, the shortlisted charities are counting on your vote to help them secure a share of £10,000. Please show your support for these wonderful local causes and submit your vote today!

Mind - The Mental Health Charity: Northamptonshire agency O’Riordan Bond has raised in excess of £14,000 for this fine charity over the past 12 months.

Each quarter Nick Tite – communications and fundraising officer for the charity – would collect the cheque for the quarter and here he is pictured with Matt Bird, director of O’Riordan Bond, receiving the final instalment for 2021.

Sarah Hillier, chief executive of Northamptonshire Mind, says: “The effort and ongoing support O’Riordan Bond has shown to us and our service users over the past year has been truly inspiring.”

Members of O’Riordan Bond have already signed up for charity runs to raise money for Mind during 2022 and the agency hopes there will be many be fundraising opportunities too back such a worthwhile charity.
