Estate Agency X - learn how agents are beating the competition

In this article, the team at Iceberg Digital outline why agents should consider attending the Estate Agency X event as well as catching up with its podcast.

The events of the past 18 months have made it all but impossible for live events to take place, but with everyone now feeling all zoomed out there are some excellent days away from the office that can now be planned to invest in the self-development of the company and the staff.

In our industry we are often all too busy to stop and think, so a planned day away from the everyday problems to help the owners or even the whole team learn about something that might just transform a part of the business can be revolutionary. However, many of the events that take place for agents are often just the same old speakers and format, rehashed with a new year placed at the end of the title.

But if you are looking for an annual event for estate agents that want to look outside of the normal, boring conferences for business inspiration from leading experts, Estate Agency X might be the one for you.

This event will be the seventh Estate Agency X and over the years it has become the most trusted resource for estate agents looking to innovate and think outside of the box. This is not a conference for Rightmove stats or the traditional speakers that get wheeled out at every event. Previously they have had some of the world's top entrepreneurs and business leaders speak at the events for the leaders of our industry to take that information and build stronger businesses.

The Estate Agency X podcast is one of the longest-running and most successful industry podcasts and the Facebook and LinkedIn groups are again amongst the longest-running and highly-rated places for agents to learn.

Estate Agency X 7 will see four heavyweight speakers, talking to a full Art Deco-style cinema in London in a day that is focused on the why and how of digital business transformation.

Each speaker will give the audience unique insights into why and how they could and should, take simple steps to improve their business.

The speakers at this year’s event are:

Campbell Macpherson: Award-winning author of three books to date, a keynote speaker and international business adviser, helping CEOs and leaders to align their people to a clear strategy and build cultures – and teams – that embrace change and deliver. He gives keynote speeches across the globe and runs workshops for corporations on leading change, delivering change and embracing change worldwide and will help agents to understand how best to help their teams embrace the changes that are coming to their everyday lives in estate agency from their software to their general working environment.

Marianne Page: Marianne, who is author of three books - Process to Profit, The McFreedom Report, and the best-selling Simple Logical Repeatable - has 27 years’ experience of working with McDonald’s under her belt, and a further ten working with successful small business owners, helping them to scale, grow and occasionally sell their business. As you’ll know, McDonald’s are renowned for both their systemised way of doing business, and their people development. Marianne will be showing owners and managers how to achieve both operational consistency and personal time freedom.

Daniel Priestley: Daniel is an entrepreneur, best-selling author and international speaker. Starting with nothing, he built successful multi-million-dollar businesses in Australia, UK and Singapore and has worked with some of the world's most successful people. As a futurist, Daniel understands trends that are about to happen in business before most people can see them coming and has spoken previously at EA X to much critical acclaim. This time Daniel will be explaining the ways in which business are creating unlevel playing fields to beat their competition.

Mark Burgess; Mark has over 20 years’ experience as a successful entrepreneur and is the author of two best-selling business books. Mark has spent over 30 years in the property industry, has been featured on Forbes.com, had a business show on Sky TV, has been named in the top 30 most influential people in property and has been nominated for a lifetime achievement award to the industry. Mark will help agents to piece all the information from the day together and translate it into how it can be used in their everyday lives and show real life examples of how agents have transformed the way they work.

The event will be held at the main screen of the Art Deco Everyman Cinema in London on November 4 from 9am to 5pm and a limited amount of Early Bird tickets are now on sale here.
