Homesearch and KWUK agree multi-million pound long-term agreement

In a 'coup' for property data firm Homesearch, Keller Williams UK, which has some 400 agents under its banner across the UK, has signed up to provide their agents with the firm's paid data and prospecting services in a multi-million pound, long-term agreement.

“We had 30% of our agents paying for Homesearch themselves, and they were the top performing agents in the country in terms of both instruction numbers and fees earned, so it was an easy decision to invest in the Homesearch product and team to help scale that opportunity," Ben Taylor, CEO of Keller Williams UK, said. 

"It’s only been a few weeks since we rolled it out across the group and we have already seen fantastic results. We have a structured and ambitious growth strategy for KWUK and Homesearch will play a key part in that.”


Sam Hunter, COO at Homesearch, said of the tie-up: “Homesearch was built to help agents use data and technology to find and win more of the right instructions, and to be able to leverage everything in a market to deliver a more personal service. From our discussions with Keller Williams both at board and agent level, it’s clear they share our vision for a more proactive and connected property market. We look forward to delivering for them over the coming years.”

Homesearch, which offically launched in July 2020 after some delays, describes itself as 'the next generation property data and prospecting system'. It says it enables property professionals to find, target and win new instructions or simply research the housing market using comprehensive property data, and holds a staggering 24 billion pieces of data on the entire property stock of England and Wales.

Keller Williams UK - an arm of one of the world's biggest agencies - has increased its presence in Britain in recent years and claimed earlier this year that it is the UK’s leading business-owner or ‘self-employed’ firm, with twice the agents of any direct rival.

In July it opened its 13th market centre in Edinburgh, its third hub north of the border.
