Veteran agent’s new role “to make house buying less bureaucratic”

Veteran agent and property consultant Dominic Grace, who recently left Savills after 37 years, is to take up a new role at PropTech firm Meet Parker.

Grace left Savills just 10 days ago, having most recently been the agency’s head of London residential development.

Now he’s to join the advisory board of Meet Parker, which has created an Artificial Intelligence ‘virtual assistant’, most active in the mortgage marketplace.

Grace will be working on the creation of Meet Parker’s ‘Property Solution’ which is described as “connecting property seekers and estate agents and developers, before handing off to the selected panel of mortgage brokers for financial qualification. “

He says: "I’m hugely impressed by the founders’ dynamism vision and focus on delivering a better journey for those seeking a mortgage, forming part of an exciting new era for a step change improvement in making house buying less bureaucratic and intimidating.”

Freddie Savundra, founder of Meet Parker, says: “People buy houses, not mortgages. While our mortgage solution is a first to market, we are keen to enhance our lead nurturing and support tool in the property sector … helping agents handle the volume of support enquiries they receive by channelling requests through Parker. Dom is central to our vision here and we are looking forward to working with him going forward.”
