New resi agency to be opened by commercial property specialist

A commercial property agency in London says it will open a residential sales and lettings operation this year.

Bermondsey-based Henshall & Partners will also be opening a new homes division.

The firm was founded in 2017 by Chris Henshall, who had over a decade of experience in the commercial property industry.

Henshall & Partners offer services focused on land, development and investment properties across London and south east England.

Managing director Chris Henshall says: “When the pandemic began in March 2020, all industries were bracing themselves for the worst. The property industry was no exception.

“Whilst there have been many reports suggesting a decrease in the sale and letting of commercial property, Henshall & Partners have managed to achieve several landmark deals and excel over recent months.

“Furthermore, Henshall & Partners have plans to open a residential offering in the coming months. This is an exciting time for the business and our growth is a testament to the hard work of our existing team over the course of a challenging year.”

Recent commercial deals include the sale of a 15,000 square foot building for £6.5m in SE17, a development deal in SE1 for £2.475m, as well as a string of lettings in the south of the capital.
