Want to be a self-employed agent? Recruitment roadshow starts

eXp UK - an agency brand with roots in the US and led by Adam Day, a veteran of three online firms - is holding a roadshow for agents.

Day launched the operation in November 2019; the eXp UK model allows agents to trade under their own personal name adding ‘powered by eXp.’

Agents earn a minimum of 70 per cent of the commission they generate, and can receive up to 99 per cent depending on the number of sales they do within a year.

The eXp UK team will begin on May 24 in Newcastle before visiting 10 venues including Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham, Bristol, Plymouth, Bournemouth, Watford and Maidstone, culminating in a final roadshow in central London on June 17.

“The idea is to bring together the existing eXp agents around the UK. We’ve grown from around 40 agents just as the first lockdown hit in March 2020, to nearly 200 agents now, and very few of us have met in the flesh.

“Community is one of eXp’s core values, and I look forward to this roadshow that will allow us to continue to build and maintain a vibrant community of agents across the UK.”

In addition, non-eXp agents will be welcome to attend the events, to learn about the eXp model.

“Our sessions will include training and insight from some of our best agents, from around the UK, who have built highly successful pipelines since joining eXp – some of them set to bank in excess of £250,000 this year – which may help branch managers, listers and senior negotiators in their own businesses”

The events are free and will follow Covid guidelines, with a limit of 30 people per event, open to any estate agent.
